I own a few acres of timberland, and I bought my diesel mule after hurricane Ivan paid us a visit last year. I put it to work right off the trailer clearing roads, dragging logs, hauling out firewood, hauling seed and fertilizer, hauling hunters, you name it. Right from the start I never did babysit the machine, and it has taken everything I've thrown at it and has never batted an eye.
The engine is strong and starts easily in any weather, hot or cold. Its pretty stingy with the fuel, and it's relatively quiet compared to some small diesels I've heard, but you will definitely know its a diesel. All in all it's a champ!!
